If passed, the new price decrease rule will allow mailers using a presort service to pay the same 1-ounce rate on letters that weigh up to 3 ounces. Currently the rules allow DXO customers to mail up to 2 ounces at the 1-ounce rate. Under the new rules a customer will save more than $0.43 on any mailpiece that weighs up to 3 ounces!
